Quick delivery from Amazon however the board does not boot. Keeps on restarting after POST (Power on self test) and I kept getting CMOS Checksum bad errors. I have replaced memory, graphics cards, drives) everything I can think of and it still does it. I even tried running it without any drives and still keeps on rebooting constantly where it should halt saying hard drive missing. Very unhappy. Have contacted they’re customer service for a refund.

Normally I would recommend Asrock have used them many times building PC’s for friends and clients but my own motherboard failed ( an Asrock) after 2 years and its replacement will not boot and I have the hassle of returning it. No problem with Amazon they are brilliant with their service and return systems. So will not buy another will now try Asus for a replacement

If you don’t want to splash out on the new i3/i5/i7 slots or DDR3 then this is a good motherboard. I upgraded from a micro-ATX board for the benefits of extra SATA ports, PCI-E 2.0 and better overclocking capabilities. I had no trouble with this board installing my components and it is running stable as I write this review. Big graphics cards won’t block anything unlike some other motherboards which is nice and the two heat sinks are conveniently placed. The software supplied enables you to overclock your CPU in-windows however this is reset when you restart your computer so overclocking on the BIOS is the better bet, of which it is very easy to do on this motherboard. Very good price for those who are still running 775/DDR2 systems.

Bought this to upgrade from a VIA chipset mobo that couldnt overclock. This motherboard works nicely. Great overclocking tools and can handle most of the latest hardware. Great mobo for the price.
