The medium protective groundsheet is designed to provide extra protection to the underside of your tent groundsheet like a tent footprint.
Footprints are great as they are layed out before erecting the tent and shows clearly the tent boundaries which is especially useful in camp sites or where space may be limited.
Also, it will keep the tent clean whilst pitching and protects from mud and any sharp stones over the duration of your stay.
